Kathryn Myers, 63, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday August 4, 2018 at 11:35 pm in Union Hospital. She was a professor at St. Mary of the Woods College for over 35 years and was an author. Kathryn was born November 29, 1954 in Elnora, IN to James Krocza and Iva Jean (Baker) Krocza. She is survived by her daughter, Jami Michelle Myers Selzer (Kevin) of Terre Haute; step-daughters, Krystal Mosko (Michael) of Waldorf, MD, Kimberly Greis of Mooresville, and Kelly Kirkpatrick (Eric) of Lakewood, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael D. Myers who died November 23, 2014 and her son, Gregory James Myers. Kathryn founded the Ethic Bowl Team and the Paralegal Program at St. Mary of the Woods College. She was past-president of the Association of Paralegal Education and was a nationally known speaker for paralegal education. She was the first person to graduate from Vincennes University with a paralegal degree and was the first paralegal in Terre Haute. Visitation will be Saturday August 11. 2018 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Debra Hardin officiating.
