Dear Mary: you may think this strange as I only met you Friday for 15 min at L and A Farms but you were such a blessing to me during the time that you were also grieving that I had to thank you for your kindness. You told me you had just lost your husband of 53 years and that my husband and I should appreciate every day we have together. We have been struggling lately with health crises and mental decline as well. We needed encouragement and out of your need, you met ours. It was such a blessing that I felt the need to offer you my heartfelt sympathy today as you lay your beloved husband to rest. Aug 7 happens to be our 46th anniversary and you didn't just "happen" by Friday. God sent you to give us what we needed and I hope it helped you to talk to me too. God bless you from one old farm wife to another.
P.S. I gave you the wrong name of my sons security co. It is General Alarm.

Thoughts and prayers Mary, Lori, Bill and families in the loss of Joe. I have such fond memories of working on your farm, with Joe, during summers after graduating high school.

I remember clearly the day my Grandma Lee and I made peanut butter fudge and walked down the County Line Road to welcome the new neighbors, The Lathams.
Joe and I were always in the same grade at Cory School and graduated from Purdue the same year as well.
Bill Walker, my husband of 58 years was there playing with Joe so I have to thank Joe for that meeting.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I smile when I think of you all with fond memories.

Aunt Mary, Lori, Bill I am so sadden by Uncle Joes passing. One of the hardest things you will have to go through is to lose a love one. He is an angel now and will always be flying above you all watching over you. He will be missed. My prayers are with you all. Love you.
