James D. Jacks, 85, of Terre Haute went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 25, 2019. He was born February 19, 1934 in Terre Haute to William A. Jacks and Cecil Mae Mallory Jacks and they have preceded him in death. He was a retired truck driver for Refiners Transport and Texaco Oil Company. His survivors are his wife Jody (Fleschner) Jacks, his son Mike Jacks and his wife Cindy, a daughter Pam Jacks, his grandchildren Mandy (Jamie) Ribolla, Michelle (Jason) Schimmel, Jessica Cooper, and Jennifer (G. A. ) Gann. His great grandchildren are Tate Cooper, Braden Schimmel, Brilee Schimmel, Taylor Cooper, Brody Schimmel, Kaydance Gann, James Ribolla, Brock Schimmel, Wyatt Gann, Ada Ribolla, and Owen Gann. He was also preceded in death by a brother Bob Jacks, and his sisters Dorothy Jacks, Mary Jameson, JoAnn Moreland, and Billie Kirchner. There are many other relatives and several nieces and nephews. He loved the time spent with his family. His family was everything to him. Funeral services will be on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Faith Wesleyan Church of which he was a longtime member. Services will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Bob McHenry officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
