Jake Richard Anthony (1992-2018) received a heart transplant at age seven. He wore it like a badge of honor and fully lived every minute of life his donor offered. In the end, after nearly 19 years, he passed away peacefully on March 24, 2018 at home with his loving parents Kjersti A. (Johnson) and Richard A. Anthony. He was unafraid, calm and at peace. In life his heart was made of gold. He was a steadfast friend and an ally to anybody who needed one. Along with his parents, he will be deeply missed by his loving Grandparents, Barabara J. (Ewend) and Erle E. Johnson, and Elizabeth L. (Boluyt/Anthony) and Paul M. Kooyers. Uncle John R. Johnson and Aunts Janice M. (Anthony) Ellison and Nancee J. (Anthony) DeVogel, their spouses, Muriel Stone, George Ellison and John DeVogel, their children, grandchildren, and many friends.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation, formal service or burial. What few monetary assets Jake had will be distributed to friends according to his instructions. He gifted his personal assets to those who knew him as he lived.
