Eunice Irene Wasson

Eunice Irene Wasson, 77, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully at 1:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2018 at Springhill Village.  She was born August 14, 1940 in Bowling Green KY to Kirby Johnson and Mildred Cowles Johnson. She is survived by her husband Paul Wasson who she married March 30, 1963 in Bowling Green KY; one daughter Amy Henderson (Scott); one son Kevin Wasson (Molly); six grandchildren, Craig Wasson, Cody Wasson, Ashton Henderson, Peyton Henderson, Nikki Wasson, and Mark Wasson; two brothers James E Johnson (Martha) and Kirby M Johnson (Lou Ellen) both of Bowling Green KY; and many nieces and nephews; her best friend from high school, Barbara Rigsby of Bowling Green KY.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Mildred Johnson; two brothers Carlos Johnson and Randel Johnson; and one sister-in-law Lana Johnson, all of Bowling Green KY.  She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ for over 40 years.  Eunice was a teacher’s assistant at DeVaney Elementary School for 27 years. She loved working with the children at her job.  She loved flowers and working in her yard.  Her family was her world. Eunice loved spending time with her grand kids. Visitation for Eunice will be held at DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel on Friday, February 9, 2018 form 10-1 pm with services starting at 1.  Burial at Mt Pleasant will follow. Matt Carver will be officiating.
