Charlotte Elliott, 99, of Prairie Creek passed away in Glenburn Nursing Home June 15, 2019 at 7:51 AM. She was born on June 9, 1920 to Irvin Davis an Edna (Hunt) Davis. Charlotte was born and raised in Prairie Creek, living there until 2006 when she moved to Linton with her daughter and son-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband Richard Elliott; Daughter Rita Jo Elliott; Brothers Earl and Max Davis; Grand Daughter Lee Ann Martin; 3 Brother-in-laws; 4 Sister-in-laws; and 3 Nephews. Charlotte is survived by her Daughter Dian Martin (Bob); Grandchild Kimberly Sanders; Great-grandchildren Morgan Sanders, Dylan Oxendine, and Carson Sanders;One Brother-in-law; One Sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was a lifelong member of First Prairie Creek Baptist Church as well as a lifelong member of the Prairie Creek Chapter Eastern Star. She was a member of the Prairie Creek Home Ec Club. She helped out at her family’s store in Prairie Creek from time to time. Charlotte enjoyed doing lots of crafts and liked playing bridge. She loved to be on the go. More than anything she loved attending her granddaughters sporting events as well as her great-grandchildren’s sporting events. Visitation for Charlotte with be held on Tuesday, June 18 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00-2:00 with services starting at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Prairie Creek Westlawn cemetery. Pastor Kevin Dobson will be officiating. A dinner will be held at Prairie Creek First Baptist Church following the burial.
