Bradley 'Brad' Cook
Bradley Philip Cook, 62, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long and courageous battle with cancer on August, 21, 2019 with his loving wife Barbara holding his hand.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Hannah Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife Barbara whom he married on February 2, 1980, daughter Juli Harrison (Cameron), granddaughter Carter Grace Harrison, grandson Connor Bradley Harrison, brothers Randall (Theresa) and Brian Cook, brother-in-law Frank Moore Jr. (Ruth), nieces Kathleen Lentz (David), Peggy Bailey (Tony), nephews Frank Moore III (Kari), Jon Moore, and many loving and devoted friends.
He was born March 4, 1957 to Jesse W. and Norma (Hinds) Cook. He was a 1975 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and graduated from Rose-Hulman in 1979 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Brad retired from Duke Energy after 31 years of service before working another five years at Hoosier Energy in Merom, Indiana. He attended the Wallace Christian Church in Wallace, Indiana with his family.
In addition to his regular work Brad was involved in several home construction projects over the years. He was also a fan of the Indianapolis 500 as well as events at the Terre Haute Action Track.
Visitation for Brad will be held at DeBaun Funeral Home Springhill Chapel on Thursday, August 29 from 4-8 PM as well as Friday, August 30th from 10-11 AM. Services will start at 11 AM. Burial at Roselawn memorial park will follow. Pastors Ryan Sowers and Grant Bryant will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which Brad was very passionate about.
