Betty Mildred Gottardi, 92, of Terre Haute, went to eternal rest on Friday, May 31, 2019, at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus, surrounded by her family. Betty was born on September 9, 1926, to Tony and Mary (Kenezovich) Grubor, in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Betty married the love of her life, Armand Gottardi, Jr., on January 24, 1954. Together they raised two sons and a daughter. Betty and Armand were devoted to one another for 65 years.
Betty, along with her husband Armand, owned and were dedicated to Louise’s Restaurant in Terre Haute, Indiana from 1970-1995. Betty put her heart and soul into their business, cooking family recipes and making many great friends over the years.
Betty will be remembered for cooking traditional Serbian recipes, sewing Halloween costumes for grandchildren, crocheting blankets and listening to George Strait. She loved being surrounded with her family, friends, and especially grandchildren. Betty loved whole-heartedly and unconditionally, and anyone she met adored her.
