Betty Abram Obituary

Betty L. Abrams, 85 of Terre Haute passed away on July 19, 2018 at Meadows Manor North.  She was born December 13, 1934 in Knox County to Albert and Zelma Pepmeier.  Betty was a homemaker devoting her life to her family.  She loved babysitting, crocheting, and was famous for her carrot cake.  Betty was a member of the Bible Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Abrams; daughter Diana Chambers (Terry), son James David Abrams (Linda) of Paris, Illinois, sister Alberta Hunt of Edwardsport, Indiana, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Brooke Abrams, sister Norma Carr, and brother Burton Pepemeir. 

A special thank you goes out to the staff of Meadows Manor North for the care you showed Betty and her family.

Visitation will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday July 23, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bible Holiness Church located at 2555 Layher Avenue, Terre Haute with Pastor Wendell Kirkman.  Burial will follow service at Durham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bible Holiness Church in honor of Betty.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
