  1. Lisa J. Pyron Says:

Susan will be missed by all her friends at Kiwanis International. I work at Kiwanis and the feeling of loss can be felt throughout the building, especially by those who knew Susan best. I talked with Susan frequently about my Greatdane and about how I was struggling to learn how to crochet. One day out of the blue she brought me all her old crochet hooks, yarn and instruction books. She inspired me to keep at it and eventually I became pretty good at crocheting. It won’t be the same at the office without Susan, but I do feel peace knowing that she’s with her parents and experiencing an amazing new journey. I pray for those of us who must remain here grieving her loss. To Susan’s wonderful husband Mike, and her children and grand children, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
