To The Family and Friends of SGT Andrew Wilson,
As Captain of the flight that brought Andrew home Wednesday evening, I had the honor of participating in his escort duties. Behind the scenes I was able to observe the Honor Guard and the very dignified transportion he received. All events occured with solemn honor and respect – from the military to the ground and flight crews, law enforcement and even the passengers on board who refused to deplane until Andrew was escorted off. Everyone involved was deeply moved. Thank you for allowing him to serve our country by standing as a vanguard for freedom and liberty.
Respectfully,
Captain Tom Oltorik
(LtCol US Marines (Retired))

To the family of Andrew,
I knew Andrew when he was stationed at Fort Hood. He was truly an amazing man and friend! I apologize that I have not sent you my sympathies until today, but I just found out this morning and I must say I was in complete shock. My thoughts and prayers will stay with your family for a long time to come!
I will always miss his smile and kind words!
