Phyllis A Krantz

Phyllis A Krantz, 94, of Terre Haute went to be with the lord Saturday August 19, 2017 in Southwood Nursing Home surrounded by family.  She was born January 11, 1923 to Charles Coleman and Anna Waldbeiser Coleman.  Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Krantz who died in September of 2011.  She is also preceded in death by her three sisters; Olive Francis, Mary Wooley, and Norma Watts.  Phyllis is survived by two sons; Michael Bruce Krantz (Beth) in Houston TX, and David Krantz (Jackie) ; daughter, Ruth Chrisman; grandchildren Jennifer Chrisman, Melissa Chrisman and significant other Robert Matherly,all of Terre Haute, Jessica Callahan (Andy) of Mobile AL, Elizabeth Rock (Chris) of Chicago IL, and Jordyn Krantz (Joesph Miller); and two great grandchildren, William Matherly and Brighton Hauser.  Phyllis was a member of Mount Pleasant Church.  She attended Mount Pleasant’s group called Primetime, as well as Lunch Bunch, and was once a member of Honey Creek Home Makers.  Her passions were gardening and cooking.  Visitation for Phyllis will be held on Tuesday August 22nd, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. with services starting at 3 p.m. at Debaun Funeral Homes at 85 east Springhill Drive with Pastor Rick Swan and Pastor Dennis Ticen officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.   In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made at either the 14th and Chestnut Community Center or Hospice of the Wabash Valley.  Online condolences may be left at DeBaunfuneralhomes.com
