June H. (Norton) Chisler Anglin

June H. (Norton) Chisler Anglin, 93, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 10:05 am in Signature Healthcare. She was a retired homemaker and salesperson at J.C. Penny, A&P Grocery and Bartley Furniture Store. She is survived by a daughter, Loretta J. Ormsby and her husband David of Terre Haute; son, Donald L. Chisler and his wife Shirley of Marion, VA; a stepson, Larry Norris and his wife Nell of Tennessee; grandchildren, Beth Pratt and her husband Greg, Kimberly Corbin, Kent Chisler and his wife Mary Ann, Chuck Ormsby and his wife Lori Ann, Lori Ormsby Noth and her husband Steve; step-grandchildren, Andrea Elliott and her husband and Rob Norris; great grandchildren, Alexandra (Alex), Cameron Bailey, Taylor, Brittney, Ryan, Lindsey, Katie, Lauren, John, Brendan, Annissia, Eva, Gavin, Jocelyn, Allison, Evan, Katie, Jason, Shelby, Nick, Carson, and Cade; two great grandsons, Peyton and Bryson; a sister-in-law, Gladys Tatlock; several nieces and nephews and her special pet, Ms. Kitty. June was preceded in death by parents, her first husband Clarence Chisler who died in 1975, her second husband, Raymond Anglin who died in 2004 and a brother, Gerald Norton. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 64 years and most recently Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Also the Senior Seekers Bible Club and the Yarn Spinners, she was active in the Eastern Star #528and the American Legion Post #104 Auxiliary, where she served in several capacities. Visitation will be Friday may 12, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Swan officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Signature Healthcare of Terre Haute who provided their “June Bug” with loving friendship and compassionate care for the past four years of her life.
