Jewel was a dear friend to our family. She was probably my mother's( Wilma Glenn) oldest living friend at the time of her passing three years ago. Their days at Trevecca Nazarene College bonded a friendship that would last until 2014. Jewel studied the Bible and served the Lord and enjoyed the fellowship of church meetings and functions. I am thankful that I got to meet her and her husband, Bruce. Christian friends are so vital in our lives today! One glorious day we will see them again. What a reunion it will be!
