Cheryl Ann (Staley) Wells

Cheryl Ann Staley Wells, 61, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday July 1, 2017 at 2:31 am in Union Hospital after a courageous 9 year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a retired pre-school teacher. She was born June 28, 1956 in Terre Haute to Rex Arthur Staley and Gladys (Gardner) Staley. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Dan Wells; a daughter, Nicole Romas and husband Matt of Brazil; sons, Jason Wilkinson and wife Tricia of Indianapolis and Ryan Wilkinson and wife Sarah of Brazil; step-daughter, Jenna Adams and husband Cody of Little Rock, AR; step-sons, Matthew Wells of Little Rock, AR and Mitchell Wells of Jonesboro, AR; a brother, David Staley and wife Melodie of Brazil, and grandchildren, Isabelle Romas, Alexandria Romas, Annastasia Romas, and Ridley Wilkinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Rex Arthur Staley, Jr. She was a member of Terre Haute First Baptist Church and a graduate of Indiana State University. Cheryl also enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and her dog, Barkley. Visitation will be Wednesday July 5, 2017 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Bernie Jackson officiating.
