Carl F. “Fuzzy” Piker, 55, of West Terre Haute passed away at his sisters, Florence Barton, house surrounded by family on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 5:27 am. He was a logger who worked for various logging businesses. He was born January 31, 1962 in Terre Haute to Jesse Piker and Norma Jean (Elkins) Piker. Fuzzy is survived by sisters, Jessie McCollum (Samuel) of Farmersburg, Margaret Barton (Timothy) of West Terre Haute, Florence Barton (Kenneth) of West Terre Haute, Judy Higgins (Jeffrey) of Mooresville, Lois King (Terry) of Terre Haute, and Kathy Stripling of Macon, GA; brothers, Paul Piker of Terre Haute and George Piker of Prairie creek and 13 nieces and nephews. Fuzzy loved mushroom hunting and deer hunting with his brother Paul and camping at Prairie Creek Park. Graveside services will be Saturday may 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm in New Harmony Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating a Celebration of Life will follow from 2:30 until 4:30 pm at Prairie Creek Community Center. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Wabash Valley and his nurse Kathy Ritter for the care that they provided. DeBaun Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
