Kathryn J. Bogard, 86, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away at 1:45 AM on Monday, March 1, 2010 in Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY. She was born in Knox County, IN on July 20, 1923 to Glen Clinkenbeard and Ida Bell Claspbell Clinkenbeard. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bogard in 1994, as well as an infant son, Robert Bogard, Jr. Survivors include one son; Michael D. Bogard; and one daughter; Marsha K. Lee. Other survivors include a brother; Tom Clinkenbeard; a sister; Eva Moody; and six grandchildren; Cari Bogard-Riggs, Troy Bogard, Robert Bogard, Jamie Bogard, Justin Bogard, and Marie Bogard. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Dr., on Wednesday at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Larry Mathias officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation is on Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Church of Nazarene, in her memory.
