Helen Marie Yettman, 87, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 AT 12:35 PM IN Terre Haute Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born February 4, 1923, in Charleston, IL, she was the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Aubouchon) Whitaker, who preceded her in death. Her husband John Nelson Yettman also preceded her in death.
She is survived by sons, Nelson E. (Anne) Yettman of Jacksonville, FL., Harry P Yettman of Terre Haute, James J (Barb) Yettman of Murchison, TX; 2 daughters Billie Jean (Jim) Dill of Indianapolis and Marjorie (Ron) Robertson of Terre Haute; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Helen was a member of La France Ladies Fire Auxiliary and a Golden Member of Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing euchre and bingo. She was a former employee of Schultz Department Store.
Services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive, Friday, March 5th at 11:00 a. m., with Pastor David Deal officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 4th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
