What a shock to see this in the paper. Gerry was just in the Genealogy Library at Center Point. We were BHS Class of ’60 classmates.

Now here is a genuine loss for us folks left behind. I saw Gerry last at the Blue Bonnet, Praise God, what a precious memory. G was the funniest man alive in my experience with him ca. 1957 through 1960. Gosh, he could make me laugh. He was Bob Newhart, Red Skelton,Don Riggles, Bob Hope, and others all rolled into one. Make sure someone tells Jon Romas because he felt about G the same as the rest of us at the Bonnet that day. All the folk-ses in Heaven are rejoicing at their new arrival, trust me on this for I know about these things. Weep not, all you in the family; I wish you all could have seen G playing football for the Red Hot Bray-zill Red Devils as I did in those High School days. It is so funny he got married and served as the Patrick patriarch because I remember he didn’t trust females.

Milli and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Gerry. I always enjoyed his visits into Jonesey’s Eastside Diner with his buddies at the round table. Our joking back and forth on which one of us was going to break down in the winter and get rid of the shorts and bring out the long pants. He left so many memories in my heart and there will always be his spot at the round table. He will be missed by many but will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers will be with you..
