Frances Shuler, 91, of Terre Haute passed away on February 2, 2012. She was born on April 16, 1920 to Riley Boyll and Bessie (Cottrell) Boyll. Frances was a member of the Youngstown United Methodist Church. There she participated in the Women Methodist Group. She was also a member of the Prime Timer Bowling League, Saddle Club, and Auto Club. Francis enjoyed golfing. She was very proud that she was able to score a hole in one at one of her golf outings.
She is survived by her son Dennis Shuler his wife Shannon; daughter Cheryl Bedwell her husband Steve, sisters Mary Walton, Almeda Hudson, and Reba Williams; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Herman “ Shorty” Shuler; her parents; daughter Nancy Shuler; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday February 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Pastor Linda Snider will be officiating. Burial will be in Hull Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday February 6, 2012 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Youngstown United Methodist Church.

To the family of Francis, I am a friend of Karen and Dave and met Frances several years ago. I thought it was neat how the sisters met and played cards. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She was a sweet lady who will be missed by many. I will remember her smile!
