Darrell Ray Tingley, 73, passed away on January 9, 2012. He was born in Terre Haute, IN on November 18, 1938 to Julius and LaDonna ( Shingshang) Tingley.
He is preceded in death by his wife Claudia (Foote) Tingley, and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Pamela Thompson and her husband Darren; son Scott Tingley; brothers Kenneth Tingley, Robert Tingley, and John Tingley; sister Ruth Ann Taylor; 6 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; and 3 great granddaughters.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday January 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Pastor Dave Smith will be officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 11, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pam & Scott, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I just now found out, or I would have been at his visitation. I’m sorry for that. Your dad was a good man. We all had good times together. He sure loved spending time with his friends. He would do anything for his friends and they would for him as well.
