Robert “Bob” Lee Lowe, Sr., 76, of Terre Haute died Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 4:30 PM in his residence. He retired from General Housewares and had previously worked at Pillsbury. He was born February 5, 1933 in Terre Haute to Oakley Lowe and Gertrude (Lentz) Lowe. Bob is survived by his wife Delores Susan (Fash) Lowe whom he married March 8, 1986; his children: Robert L. Lowe, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Golf Breeze, FL, Jeff Lowe and his wife Debbie of Indianapolis, Gregg Lowe of North Terre Haute, Susan McGee and John Cox of Marshall, IL, Scott McGee of Marshall, IL, Steve McGee and his wife Diana of Virginia Beach, VA, Gary Lowe and his wife Lisa of Farmersburg, and Keith Lowe and his wife Shanna of Irvarre, FL; a brother: Larry Lowe and his wife Gloria of CA; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Ted and Fred Lowe. Bob was a member and President of Steel Workers Local #7441 and a veteran of the US Army in the Korean War where he was a medic, and he was an avid Indianapolis Colt’s fan. Visitation is Sunday January 24, 2010 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Penny Brown officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Vigo Count y Veterans Honor Guard.

    Susan, Susie, Scott and Steve and family…….

    I am so very sorry for your loss. Wow I had you all on my mind for some reason the past couple of days. decided to look up a couple of names and then I found Bobs notice. Isnt that really wired. If you have internet access have one of you send me an email jaalkire@aol.com
    Again I am really sorry for the loss of Bob. I remember him as a really super guy…….
